The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, O. Moroz, took part in the Celebrations to mark The 1110th Anniversary of Pereiaslav- Khmelnytsky.
O. Moroz expressed his heartfelt congratulation to the townspeople on this glorious Jubilee, on behalf of the current and the next Verkhovna Rada, as in his opinion, 'the following one will have the same membership.'
O. Moroz recalled the event that took place in this city and wished it further success.
He also stressed the need for a change to The Constitution, the decentralization of power, and the vesting of more authorities to the local communities.
During his meeting with Lecturers and Students of The Pereiaslav State Teachers' Training University, The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasised the need for an increase in the number of State-funded students.
On the occasion of the Jubilee, and commemoration of the glorious traditions of this University, he presented Decorations of The Verkhovna Rada to the Lecturers.
O. Moroz informed journalists that most likely on Thursday or Friday The Budget will be presented to The Deputies, and therefore to the Nation. He admitted that The Budget can be adopted at the First Reading by The Verkhovna Rada of the still present Convocation.
