The roundtable took place on July 7 upon the initiative of people's deputies Oleksii Riabchyn and Liliya Hrynevych.
Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Science and Education Liliya Hrynevych noted that an important result of the roundtable should be the formation of the core of like-minded persons to engage in intellectual and organizational assistance in activity of educational establishments evacuated from temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and the ones in the zone close to the frontline.
Participants of the roundtable stated that standalone regulatory-legal acts settling the activity of higher education establishments invalidate the regulation of renewal of material and technical base and social problems.
Participants of the event were people's deputies, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, rectors of evacuated educational establishments, representatives of high school and non-government organizations.
