Today Ukrainian libraries provide our citizens with general access to information and cultural values by doing meaningful and diverse work aimed at forming worldview of a person and personality in the global informational space. It is pleasant to note that, keeping up with the times, our librarians actively introduce advanced information technologies, meanwhile preserving and multiplying their own rich traditions.
I am convinced that libraries have always been and will remain guardians of culture and spiritual development of people. Your devotion to librarianship makes a priceless contribution in preservation of Ukrainian statehood.
