Dear friends!
Please, accept my most sincere greetings on the occasion of the All-Ukrainian Library Day.
Today Ukrainian libraries provide our citizens with general access to information and cultural values by doing meaningful and diverse work aimed at forming worldview of a person and personality in the global informational space. It is pleasant to note that, keeping up with the times, our librarians actively introduce advanced information technologies, meanwhile preserving and multiplying their own rich traditions.
I am convinced that libraries have always been and will remain guardians of culture and spiritual development of people. Your devotion to librarianship makes a priceless contribution in preservation of Ukrainian statehood.
With all my heart I wish you and your near ones sound health, happiness, welfare and peace. May fortune be generous to you – keepers of age-long wisdom of human civilization!
