“The Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Department of the Treasury introduces new sanctions against individuals and legal entities of the Russian Federation,” -- Andriy Parubiy
Opening the morning plenary session, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy informed the chamber about the recent OFAC’s decision to impose more sanctions against natural persons and corporate entities of the Russian Federation.
The head of parliament stressed that "the document refers to a number of persons involved in the intelligence, cyber and propaganda operations of Russia, including the criminals dragged into the notorious fatal poisoning with the use of Novichok in Salisbury".
"We do commend the consistent and unswerving position of the United States towards expansion and deepening of sanctions against Putin's Russia, an international terrorist country," stressed A.Parubiy, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
