Tolling the Crimean tocsin
Through having signed the parliamentary resolution, Andriy Parubiy has sent the international community an alarming message concerning the illegal presidential election preparations throughout the Crimea – the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. Those in attendance were informed so at the very start of the Conciliation Board sitting on Monday. The paper is supposed to share out the UA Parliament’s call to black the illicit voting in the Crimea by turning down whatever results of the ballot.

This week’s To-Do List

It was announced that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine was slated  to approve in the coming week a roundly agreed agenda of the session. The issue list is to start on Tuesday from law enforcement matters through rehabilitation of political victims to intellectual property problems which too are polar for Ukraine’s international cooperation.

Traditionally, on Wednesdays the Parliament is having some ratifications, and then a large-scale paper on disciplinary regulations to the National Police to end with.

The Thursday will open a cluster of construction and urban development issues, personnel problems and lifting immunity from Yevhen Bakulin, MP.

The national security and defense law was said to be a fateful and deciding one for this session for its being full of novelties capable of integrating the country into NATO and the EU through implementation of their standards.

NO(rd) Stream 2

The European parliament’s fold has been addressed to by a joint open letter inked by five parliamentary speakers, defining the project to be a driver of instability and pressure. That information was spread out at the same sitting of the Conciliation Board on Monday. The paper had been triggered off in Chisinau while the Chairman’s official visit there, being then complemented by signatures of Moldova, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.

“This synergy…it is of high importance that we act together, in once voice, making it louder,” stressed A.Parubiy. “I firmly believe the number of the letter subscribers shall redouble soon, and our Parliament’s stance will acquire more and more advocates among European states, our neighbours who are well in the know about Russia’s gas blackmailing”.
