Dear Fellow Ukrainians!

The victory over Nazism and the end of World War II were, without any exaggeration, the most important events of the last century.  Millions of lives destroyed, homes and families devastated, many long years of struggle of attrition… This war took too much from mankind, and the victory came at a very high price, but it became the most valuable lesson for the human race.

This Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation is an occasion to bethink about all those who gave their lives in this war and its innocent victims. In early May, we always pay tribute to World War II veterans for their outstanding feat. However, we must remember these things every day.

Right along we ought to be bearing in mind that war is horrible, painful, and inadmissible, remembering that human life is the most precious thing in the world, having in mind that only together can we do everything.
