• “It is crucially important and is a matter of principle for us to continue the initiated reforms,” -- Dmytro Razumkov

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Dmytro Razumkov, met today with ambassadors of the G7 countries.

The speaker thanked for the support that Ukraine feels from the partner countries.

"In today's pandemic, war, and occupation of our territories, it is very important for us to maintain international support and sanctions that both help deter the armed aggression against our country," the politician stated.

Besides, during the meeting, there were discussed the situation in Ukraine with the spread of coronavirus infection and the impending challenges.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada emphasized that only through solidarity and actions aimed at the development and protection of the country there would be feasible to gather appropriate strength to overcome the problem the society has faced at the moment.

Dmytro Razumkov also stressed that after emerging from quarantine it would not be easy for the country to get back to sustainable economic development.

Into the bargain, the debaters also talked over the implementation of Ukraine’s ongoing reforms.
