Opening a Conciliation Board meeting on Monday, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy said it was hundred years today since the start of the Russian aggression against the Ukrainian People’s Republic, which, in fact, had spawned in those days “a real struggle for Ukrainian independence”.

The Chairman pointed out that “a hundred years have passed but we are again and again having the same foe and the same aggressive onrush weapons in the present hybrid warfare”. He named it “emblematic” and called on to always remember “where the Archenemy of the Ukrainian State indwells”.

“By keeping this in mind, we will be far more clear-eyed in understanding what is presently going on in the country that fights against one of the most powerful martial polities of the world,” said Andriy Parubiy.
