Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament signed the new Law of Ukraine “On Education”

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy has signed the Law of Ukraine “On Education”, the law that introduces new approaches and concepts in the realm of education.

“We are hereby making a start to a new comprehensive reform, we are conducting the entire educational rearrangement to form a new Ukrainian school  by rebuilding the obsolete and stiff old system of education, made during the Soviet-era,” said A.Parubiy to the mass media at the law signature briefing.

The Chairman stressed that the much-discussed key point of the law ran the education in Ukrainian schools would be conducted in the state language, which was a wide-spread practice throughout Europe and more.

“We are shaping our new Ukrainian education, we are building the state,” underscored A.Parubiy and put his signature on the Law of Ukraine “On Education”.

The document is then supposed to be immediately tabled up to the President for his approval.
