A.Parubii expressed his hope to Paolo Alli that Ukraine might host one of the future NATO Parliamentary Assembly’s sessions in Kyiv. The Ukrainian chairperson reviewed the current situation in Ukraine, the increased shelling from the Russian occupants’ side in particular, having stressed that Russia had been accumulating weapons in the Crimea. ‘We feel it to be explicit and obvious threat not only in the regional understanding, but even globally. Owing to that being side by side with the whole world is quite supportive,’ said A.Parubii.
The head of Ukrainian Parliament invited the Georgian chairman to visit Kyiv on July 3 on the occasion of festivities devoted to the 20th anniversary of Ukraine-NATO partnership. ‘It is my strong belief that our cooperation with NATO and Georgia would be of a steady progress,’ counts A.Parubii.
