Russia again takes Ukrainian hostages to continue its political bargaining.

Dissemination of false statements by the Russia's Federal Security Service as to alleged plans of spoof Ukrainian subversive groups to organize a number of terrorist attacks on civilian facilities in the Russia-annexed Crimea is an intentional provocation of the Russian security services and an integral part of the hybrid war unleashed against Ukraine.

Russian propaganda uses this fake stories to whip up anti-Ukrainian hysteria in Russia, and Russian military are trying to use it to intensify shelling upon Ukrainian territory and justify activity of own subversive groups.

The fact that this provocation is a part of political games is confirmed by hostile statements made by the Russian Federation's leadership on practical disruption of the Normandy Format negotiations by the Russia's representatives.

Unfortunately, the citizens of Ukraine have become hostages of the Kremlin's policy again. It is still up to the competent bodies to find out how and who delivered them to the territory of Crimea. However, it is obvious that the major goal of that special operation was to discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

They failed. No one believed their fudged facts. However, the Ukrainian authorities and the people are now focused on immediate release of the new Putin regime's Ukrainian hostages.
