Verkhovna Rada Chairperson Volodymyr Groysman will address Prime Minister of Ukraine, leadership of State Fiscal Service and National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council to ask not to inspect mass media organizations before local election

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman will address the Prime Minister of Ukraine, leadership of the State Fiscal Service and the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council to ask not to hold inspections at mass media organizations before local election on October 25, 2015.

After Parliament's failure to support the draft resolution to ban respective inspections on Friday, Groysman said: "Once we hear about such inspections, we will make an offsite meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Free Speech and Information Policy in the premises of the media [such inspection is conducted at] to find out, who will have decided to restrict free speech."

"I will sign this address immediately today," he said.
