Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman has noted that on Friday, October 9, the Ukrainian Parliament would eye a number of important draft laws and called on leaders of deputy groups and factions to ensure presence of people's deputies to take the decision the country needs so much.

Among them, Groysman called introduction of moratorium on inspecting mass media organizations; a draft law on the system of international broadcasting of Ukraine.

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada also said that the parliamentarians would have to eye the "reformation of anti-monopoly economy — the way to receive USD 1.8 billion of macro-financial assistance," as well as legislative acts on combating corruption in the field of sports.

"Thus, I call on heads of factions and groups and personally Verkhovna Rada non-affiliated deputies to please ensure presence of deputies at the session hall to take responsible decisions," Groysman said.

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada noted that being a deputy is not a privilege but work and all the deputies must come and take important decisions.

Groysman noted that internal discipline is very important for effective work of the Parliament. "I mean the responsibility before the people. I would like you to respect people, who elect us," he noted.
