The Preparatory Deputy Group suggests that all people's deputies take an oath by simultaneously reading it out at the first meeting of the newly elected Parliament.

Chairperson of the Preparatory Deputy Group Volodymyr Hroisman ("Petro Poroshenko Bloc") said this at the briefing on Monday, claiming that all political forces agreed with this proposal.

"We have made a decision on the procedure of taking the oath by people's deputies", said V.Hroisman. "Everything will be held in line with the Constitution and laws of Ukraine when all deputies present in the session hall will simultaneously read out the oath of a people's deputy of Ukraine". "It is the first time that within the walls of Ukrainian Parliament each deputy will read the oath and sign it. It is extremely important", he added.

V.Hroisman stressed that the issue on postponing the date of beginning of the Parliament's work was not discussed.

V.Hroisman also mentioned that at today's meeting the Group adopted a decision on forming the agenda of the first session of the newly elected Parliament, and established principles of forming the Interim presidium, which shall include representatives from all six political forces-winners of the parliamentary elections.

The Chairperson of the Preparatory Group informed that they also considered the issue on forming the coalition and signing the coalition agreement as a result of forming political factions on the day of the session's opening.

Answering the questions, V.Hroisman informed that respective subgroups, which deal with different aspects of preparing the new Parliament for work, still continue their work. In his words, at the next meeting of the Preparatory Group it is planned to approve the plan of placing people's deputies in the session hall, and to "prepare a final decision regarding the committees".

The next meeting of the Preparatory Deputy Group will be held on November 26 at 11 a.m.
