Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov hopes that visa regime simplification between Ukraine and the EU will take place at the beginning of a new year already.
He said this during the meeting with delegation of observers from the
European Parliament over early elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.According to Oleksandr Turchynov, the Parliament has done its part of work aimed at visa regime simplification with the European Union.
In its turn, he added, the Government has financed procurement of the respective technical equipment in order to secure issuance of biometric passports.
“We hope that at the beginning of a new year visa regime between Ukraine and the European Union will be simplified,” he said, adding that this will be a significant step testifying to the support of our country on the part of the European Union.
