Starting from December the 10th, 2018 the parliament’s chairman is paying his 4-day official visit to South Korea


The visit programme comprises a range of meetings with Korean high-ranking politicians and dignitaries –  Moon Hee-sang, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Lee Nak-yeon, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, members of the Korea-Ukraine friendship parliamentary group (Friendship Association with Ukraine) led by its chairman Cho Jeong Sik.

The Ukrainian speaker shall also pay some short visits to the National museum of South Korea, the ‘Samsung d’light’ exhibition centre and a Hyundai MotorStudio of the Hyundai Corporation.

He is also to partake in a flower-laying ceremony at the 4.19 Revolution Memorial, located at the foot of Bukhansan Mountain, the National Cemetery for the April 19th Revolution - established in memory of the 224 people who passed away during the April 19th Revolution in 1960, to see the exposition at the Cultural Heritage Museum and to have a meeting with His Eminence the Most Reverend  Metropolitan Ambrosios of Korea, the Ecumenical Patriarchate’s Orthodox Metropolis of Korea - at Seoul Saint Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral.
