This year we have the opportunity to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Ukrainian civil service. Our past, experience, traditions and values are the sources that are nourishing our present and are the key to our sustainable future.
Through a proper studying the march of the Ukrainian statehood in the 20th century, we will not only be able to avoid mistakes, but we shall surely succeed in building up an independent Ukraine also.
The experience of European states shows that the creation of a democratic society requires innovative approaches to the formation of a democratic development strategy, taking into account European standards, and, first of all, it concerns the management.
I believe that your efforts will continue to be aimed at building and strengthening the statehood of Ukraine, ensuring democracy and the rule of law, economic development of the country, and increasing the well-being of the Ukrainian people.
