The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy supports the initiative to establish a Veterans' House in Zhytomyr
The Parliament’s Chair A.Parubiy congratulated on Thursday the guests, the participants and the organizers of a charity show titled “Ukraine Is Wherever We Are”, arranged by the Charity Fund “Information and Coordination Centre” under the assistance of the parliamentary Committee on Affairs of Veterans, Combatants, ATO Participants and Disabled People.
The event took place in the Parliament’s courtyard at a break between the morning and evening sessions.
“The show in company with fund-raising alongside, are jointly aimed at catapulting a Veterans’ House in Zhytomyr. This ‘roof’ shall serve as a perfect place for all veterans to gather and share out their practical knowledge and skills among the young,” said A.Parubiy. “The house built by our concerted efforts, shall sure be the heartland for vets’ movements”.
