“None of the reforms undertaken could have gone through without the appropriate decisions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and its Administration was and is thus heavily involved in these essential preparations,” – Andriy Parubiy, the Parliament’s Chairman.

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy congratulated on Thursday the workers of the Parliament’s Administration on the coming New Year holidays.  He thanked them with warmth for their unremitting toil throughout the year, for their work “which cannot be seen by many and even fewer could estimate it at its true worth”.

A.Parubiy stressed that during the year that goes by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has laid the legislative groundwork for reforming the country’s life in its entirety. According to him, next year will be on a par with the almost past one by its landmark nature as the country is at having its hundred years since establishment of the State of Ukraine in the offing.

“We ought to evaluate what is going on in Ukraine not only from the standpoint of our times but also through the angle of long standing in order to be guarded against errors of our predecessors,” underscored the Chairman.

He then addressed to the Administration workers asking them “to keep the Parliament to be a platform for reforms, a place of stability, steady development and gaining a foothold for Ukraine’s nationhood”.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine presented the administrative staff with awards and honourable distinctions for their honest and scrupulous work for the sake of the people of Ukraine.
