Within the framework of the meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, the Sejm and the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii said that the Russian terrorists have developed a new tactics of killing Ukrainian military men and civilians in Donbas: they use drones. "They use the drones to drop explosives that blast only when a person comes too close to them. Children and military men equally become the victims of such weapons. That means that they hate all the Ukrainians similarly despite their category," Andrii Parubii said.
Besides, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada noted that taking such conditions in consideration the Ukrainian authorities cannot continue negotiations on prospects of elections in some districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions at the international level. "We have considerable difficulties to discuss the details of the elections in Donbas in Berlin and Paris after seeing comprehensive shelling of our positions in the east. We need long-term ceasefire. Only this could be a ground to discuss the elections there," the Speaker said.
