“This plenary week shall cover social issues, a fuel and energy cluster, national security and defence problems, and a set of matters concerning transportation sphere as well”.
The above plans for the coming week were delivered by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine A.Parubiy at a Conciliation Board meeting on Monday.
Social protection of the disabled and rehabilitation of physically challenged persons will also be in the focus of the second day of the week. However, the key issue of the day will be the fuel and energy area.
Traditionally, the third day of the week shall bring to the House several ratifications of international treaties.
The national security and defence questions will be pushed to the fore on Thursday, with focus on certain budget changes regarding social protection of servicemen. The transportation issues will also be discussed on this day.
“We also have some points from the parliamentary committees to be reviewed this week for sure. The National police’s charter and privatization issues, for instance,” stated the Chairman conclusively.
