The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy opened the session.

A.Parubiy reminded that the liberation of the Donbas and the Crimea by the Army of the Ukrainian People's Republic from the Russian-Bolshevik invaders began those very darkest days one hundred years ago. "And I am convinced that relying on our history and realizing that today we are having the same events in Ukraine and the same occupant as one hundred years ago, Ukraine sure liberates and returns both the Crimea and the Donbas.  Let's remember and lets fight to seek the unalloyed triumph!" he stressed.

The Chairman pronounced that the meeting was attended by members of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers headed by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman.

"Ask the Government” hour began.

The Speaker gave the floor to the Prime Minister, who reported on the Government's activities over the past two years. The Prime Minister V.Hroisman and the ministers then answered the questions from parliamentarians.

The hour came to an end.

The First Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Iryna Herashchenko announced deputies’ requests.

Representatives of parliamentary factions and groups made their announcements, statements, reports, and proposals.

The presiding officer closed the meeting thereupon.

Within April 23-27 and May 7-11 members of parliament will be having their committee work, and from April 30 till May 4 – their voter education.

The next plenary session shall take place on May 15, Tuesday.
