The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy opened the session.

Representatives of parliamentary factions and groups made their announcements, statements, reports, and proposals.

Parliamentarians then switched over to the issues of the ongoing agenda.

Parliamentarians began to consider ratification issues.

The plenary meeting announced a 30-minute break.

After the break, members of parliament began to consider amendments to the bill No.6746 altering certain legislative acts of Ukraine on ensuring the principles of procedural justice and increasing efficiency of proceedings in cases of violations against economic competition.  85 edits were considered from 118 prepared for the second reading.  Consideration of edits will be continued at the next plenary meeting.

A.Parubiy said that the Parliament has just registered a draft resolution supporting the Presidential address to the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew on granting Tomos of Autocephaly to the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church.  The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada has commissioned the Committee on Culture and Spirituality to immediately consider the project in order to submit it to the Thursday’s plenary meeting for reviewing.

The Chairman also announced the creation of the inter-factional parliamentary association "Women. Peace. Security", whose co-chairs had been elected members of parliament I. Suslova, N.Veselova.

The presiding officer closed the morning session.
