At the start of the evening meeting the Chairman of the Parliament Andriy Parubiy reminded of the House’s morning decision to call the prosecutor general on the carpet to report on the Saakashvili developments and the inter-agency feud.

The floor was given to the officer in question who then delivered the official narrative on the issues.

On Saakashvili

The officer demonstrated to those in attendance an operational spy camera shooting showing an extract from the telephone conversation between M.Saakashvili and S.Kurchenko, and transferring money to a Saakashvili’s agent. There was also a comment that a range of Saakashvili’s proxies had been detained by the security service at the moment of buying weapons and arranging caches of arms nearby Hrushevskogo Street. According to the prosecutor general’s explanations, that very episode, shown exclusively, was only one of the numerous episodes of the large-scale subversive plan called “The Russian Winter” aiming at сhaotization of the internal situation.

“As I said before I really possess a host of proofs of financing Saakashvili’s activities from abroad. The proof time has come,” said the procurator’s supremo.

Then he answered numerous questions of the members of parliament on the issue.

The Presiding Officer said the hearing on the issue would continue tomorrow and closed the meeting.
