Hanna Hopko, the Head of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and B.Tarasiuk, the Deputy Head of the committee held a welcome meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of India to Ukraine Manoj Kumar Bharti

During the meeting which took place on September the 19th, the parties talked over inter-parliamentary cooperation, development of parliamentary friendship groups, and importance of bilateral high-level ties.

The Ukrainian side congratulated the other side on the 70th anniversary of the Indian Independence.

The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of India to Ukraine Manoj Kumar Bharti underlined India was very interested in a close collaboration in various realms, having stressed the core spheres to be trade and economy.

The politicians of both countries concentrated at the meeting upon widening the mutual dialogue between the states, as well as between the large and powerful economic associations. The focus was also made upon agriculture, tourism, cinema and export-imports between India and Ukraine.

In the course of the welcome meeting, there was also discussed a near presentation of the current status and outlook of Ukraine-India relations.
