The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy opened the session.

A.Parubiy reminded that the day before parliamentarians had had a smoothly concerted and productive work.

On Thursday, the Parliament passed four laws on the second reading, seven bills on the first one and one resolution - a total of twelve decisions, among which were fulmination of the Russian Nord Stream 2, National security law, enactment on the Foreign Service, renaming of the Airborne assault troops.

The Speaker A.Parubiy congratulated the Christians of Ukraine on the coming Easter.

The Chairman said that the meeting was attended by members of the Cabinet of Ministers headed by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman.    

“Ask the Government” hour started.

The Chair gave the floor to Ihor Nasalyk, the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry, who spoke about the state of play in the fuel and energy complex.

The Prime Minister V.Hroisman and the members of the Cabinet answered the questions from the parliamentary factions.

The hour ended.

Representatives of parliamentary factions and groups made their announcements, statements, reports, and proposals.

On April 10-13, members of parliament will work in committees, commissions and factions.

The next plenary session will take place on Tuesday, April 17th.
