The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine hosted a presentation of the art project “Land as not/subject”

The exhibition “Land as not/subject” is a part of the large communicative project “Land responsibility”. The project consists of three elements: smart-art-media. The task of the whole project was to deal with the difficult “land issue”: do we need a land market, and if so, what conditions will it work on? The exhibition will be open from 5 December to 22 December 2017 in the corridors of the third floor of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine building (5 Hrushevskoho Street). Entrance is by accreditation cards.

Exhibition of works of the Association of Folk Art Masters continues in the corridors of the Parliament

The exhibition features works of Ukrainian artists on religious themes: icons on the levkas by Roman Selivachov and Ivanna Datsiuk, Ukrainian portraits by Kateryna Biletinova and Olha Hrybeniuk, works in the technique of hot enamel on Ukrainian themes by Oleksii Koval, paintings on the theme of angels and patrons by Inna Pantelemonova, about 30 creative works. The organizers are waiting for visitors in the corridors of the third floor of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine building (5 Hrushevskyi St.) from 5 December to 8 December 2017. Entrance is by accreditation cards.

On the International Day of the Volunteer and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a photo exhibition “The Good Will of Peace” opened in the Parliament

A photo exhibition about the activities of the public organization “Volunteers of Ukraine” was opened on the International Volunteer Day and the Armed Forces of Ukraine Day in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The exhibition was attended by members of parliament and the leadership of the Parliament's staff. The First Deputy Head of the Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine - the Chief of staff, Petro Bodnar congratulated the volunteers and thanked them for their significant assistance in gaining peace in Ukraine.

The photos presented at the exhibition “Good Will of Peace” are testimonies of selfless volunteer work for the Ukrainian people and victory. All photos are made by volunteers, unprofessional photographers during trips to the front, therefore, for security reasons the places where photographs were made are not specified.

Over the years of military operations in the ATO zone, according to representatives of the public organization “Volunteers of Ukraine”, more than 2,000 first-aid kits, over 2 tons of drugs, 52 cars, over 100 generators, 32 thermal imagers, 30 night vision devices, 110 radio stations, more 100 bulletproof vests, 170 tablets, quadrocopters, personal computers and printers, over 1000 tons of food and more than 3000 sets of military uniforms and tactical shoes were transferred to the front line.

The women's volunteer group “Maskuvalnyi Batalion” with its own hands weaves camouflage nets for defensive structures, combat equipment of the AFU and volunteer battalions on the eastern front, produces camouflage clothes “kikimory”. According to the volunteers’ calculations, 320 nets 6х3 m in size and 8х4 m, 45 special nets with the size of 1,5х2 m, 165 “kikimor” have been woven. The total size of the nets is more than 8523 square meters.

The production of dry borsch, soups and energy mixes for soldiers is taken care of by the volunteer group “Kukharska Sotnia Stolytsi”. From 2014, our defenders were sent almost 41 thousand packages of dry first courses, that is, almost 556 thousand complete portions of finished food. The best volunteers were awarded with diplomas and awards.
