"We highly appreciate the cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross in settling humanitarian problems in eastern Ukraine, and we do stand for expansion of the mutual dialogue,” said the First Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Iryna Herashchenko during a meeting with Allen Ashliman, the head of the Red Cross delegation to Ukraine.
In the course of the meeting, there was discussed a
range of pressing issues that were high on the agenda of the TCG’s Humanitarian
sub-group, including escorting of the liberation process for the detainees and
repair of the foot bridge in Stanytsia Luhanska.
The Ukrainian side of the sub-group keeps on hard digging out what happened to the rest of the Ukrainian citizens held captive illegally throughout the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
