Iryna Herashchenko, the First Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine held a meeting with Samat Ordabaev, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine.
The parties discussed at the meeting a wide range of issues regarding enhancement of the bilateral and inter-parliamentary dialogue between Ukraine and Kazakhstan. “Ukraine and Kazakhstan have a big potential for development of trade and economic relations and widening of humanitarian dialogue,” stressed I.Herashchenko.

It was of mutual interest to discuss further closer cooperation in information technologies, agriculture, food production, aircraft construction. The sides exchanged their views over security situation in the region.

The Presidential aide on peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts (regions) delivered an overview of the Minsk groups’ activities and the TCG’s humanitarian subgroup in particular, which has been doing its best to reconciliate the Donbas situation.

The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Samat Ordabaev, in his turn, denoted importance of a wide mutual dialogue, including the inter-parliamentary level.
