Central Election Commission registered 192 people's deputies of Ukraine. Chairperson of the Preparatory Deputy Group Volodymyr Hroisman ("Petro Poroshenko Bloc") said this, opening the Group's meeting on Thursday.
V. Hroisman also said that yesterday he "signed a letter the political parties' leaders for them to accelerate submitting documents, completing all legal procedures so that the Parliament could start working on November 27".
V. Hroisman reminded that yesterday, at the first meeting of the Preparatory Deputy Group the date of the first meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the eighth convocation was appointed and three subgroups were established: on the solemn meeting and its rules of procedure, opening the first session, forming deputies' factions (groups), forming working bodies of the session, organizing work and agenda, electing leadership of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and covering the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the eighth convocation; on main issues for the Subgroup's elaboration; on issues of ensuring activity of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the eighth convocation and its authorities, fulfilling deputies' obligations, social and welfare support of activity of people's deputies of Ukraine.
The Chairperson suggested that members of the Preparatory Deputy Group grant a hearing to leaders of subgroups on the results of work in order to adopt respective decisions.
