The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the eighth convocation will start working on November 27. Such decision was taken during the meeting of the Preparatory Deputy Group on Wednesday.

As the head of the Preparatory Deputy Group, Volodymyr Hroisman (“Petro Poroshenko Bloc”), informed in the interview to journalists, there were chosen leaders of the subgroups that will make preparations for the first meeting of the newly elected Parliament. They will also be involved in forming deputy factions and groups and will take care of the material and technical, as well as social provision of the activity of the people’s deputies of Ukraine.

These subgroups are headed by Andrii Parubii (“Narodnyi Front”), Oleh Lavryk (“Samopomich” Union”) and Serhii Melnyk (a representative of the people’s deputies of Ukraine, elected in single-mandate constituencies).

V.Hroisman emphasized that it was extremely important to set the date of the first meeting of the Parliament. “This means that we drive for the soonest possible work connected with making decisions that are of importance to the state,” he claimed, noting that the Group’s work was fruitful. V.Hroisman believes that this proves determination of the people’s deputies to implement the tasks the Preparatory Group is imposed with, as soon as possible.

Next meeting of the Preparatory Deputy Group will be held on November 20 at 3 p.m.
