In her speech, Committee Chairperson Lilia Hrynevych claimed "if the country can not satisfy the needs of all children for education, it shall give the opportunity for private educational institutions to develop, as it is established in the whole world".
"Local budget can not afford to build 127 kindergartens in Kyiv, although, we can not restrict children's access to pre-school education", said L.Hrynevych.
Proposals on the necessary amendments to legal documents that regulate the issue on organizing children nutrition in comprehensive educational institutions were formed during this meeting. Representatives of specialized ministries, State Financial Inspection, State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service, Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the Kyiv City State Administration, private educational institutions, and NGOs participated in the meeting.
