The Parties discussed a broad range of issues and outlined prospects of cooperation, particularly in the sphere of environmental safety, environmental education and recovery of the affected areas, etc. Participants of the meeting stated that they are interested in further deepening of relations in the sphere of environment and development of mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries.
The round table discussion entitled: “Prospects of implementing strategic environmental assessment in Ukraine” with participation of Ambassador Roman Vashchuk was held in the Committee On February 17. The discussion stirred interest of executive authorities, business community and experts, as the first example of efficient cooperation in the framework of projects supported by the Canadian Government.
