Committee Chair Liudmyla Denisova noted that the bill (Reg. No. 2147) stipulates
additional expenditures in the amount of UAH 15 billion 323,3 million in order
to secure social protection of population and provide state support for the most vulnerable categories of citizens to pay for housing
and utilities services. Liudmyla Denisova informed that the bill stipulates allocating UAH 12 billion 473 million to provide population with privileges and housing allowances for payment of housing and utilities services.
According to her, the bill stipulates UAH 2 billion 850 million for targeted assistance to persons resettled from temporally occupied territory and ATO regions to cover their living expenses.
The Committee Chair noted that it is planned to reduce Pension Fund deficit by UAH 3 billion 913 million. This will allow Pension Fund secure payment of pensions and allowances in line with the applicable legislation.
Liudmyla Denisova drew attention to the fact that the provision on the minimum subsistence level per one person remains unchanged.
Following the results of discussion, Committee members suggest that the Committee on Budget recommend the Verkhovna rada adopt the draft law as a basis with consideration on the proposals and remarks made.
