Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, Government of the Republic of Poland and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on establishment of a joint military unit, concluded on September 19, 2014 in Warsaw, comes into force in 30 days after a depository receives the last written notification on completing all inter-state procedures necessary for the Agreement to be enforced.
Under the Agreement, "the Parties establish a joint Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian brigade level military unit (hereafter – Brigade)".
This Agreement determines overall purpose, principles of activity, decision making order, ensuring security and other organizational measures connected with the Brigade's operation.
