On September 21, a Ukraine’s representative of the Permanent Parliamentary Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Iryna Herashchenko, while paying her working visit to Paris, mingled with protesters who held their action in support of Oleh Sentsov and other Kremlin’s captives. The demarche was carried out in the close vicinity of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Paris, France.

In Paris the politician is for taking part in a meeting of the PACE Committee on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons.

Iryna Herashchenko spoke with the public activists and journalists protesting against the unlawful Kremlin's decisions regarding the Ukrainian film director Oleh Sentsov held in a Russian colony, who has for 131 days been in a self-destructive hunger strike as yet. Her visit was a sign of solidarity with Oleh Sentsov. The protesters demanded to immediately release O.Sentsov and seventy other Kremlin's captives.

Representative of the TCG’s humanitarian sub-group I.Herashchenko clued up about the sub-group efforts aimed at releasing the political captives and hostages of the Kremlin, stating Russians have been persistently blocking the issue.

The First Vice-Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament thanked the Sentsov supporters for their forthright and far-reaching endeavour.
