Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations
The committee has taken stock of its work during the 8th session of the eighth convocation Parliament. Six sittings covering 36 issues have been held within the round.
45 bills have come for consideration to the committee. Three legislative enactments have been passed by the Parliament pre-tabled by the committee, namely: No.2496-VIII of 10.07.2018, the law of Ukraine on fundamentals and basic requirements to production, circulation, labeling of organic (additive-free) products; No.2498-VIII of 10.07.2018, the law of Ukraine on collective ownership of land, advanced land use of agricultural lands, preventing raidership and irrigation priming; No.2501-VIII of 10.07.2018, the law of Ukraine on harmonizing certain phytosanitary procedures.
There was a task field sitting on 13.02.2018 held in Lviv where Ukraine’s forestry reforming was discussed.
To finalize the bills which the committee was in charge of, there was held a bundle of working group sittings, task meetings and councils, including ones with the line ministry, various state departments and services engaged.
During the session, the committee has handled 1025 documents submitted by state authorities, non-governmental organizations and nationals.
