National Police

Parliamentarians continued to consider amendments to the draft law on the Disciplinary Regulations of the National Police of Ukraine under the bill No. 4670. At the last meeting, there were 132 amendments from the 223 considered. By 251 votes, the bill has been adopted in the second reading.

Off the lawgiver

Members of parliament considered granting their consent to prosecution, detention and arrest of Yevhen Bakulin, MP (in absentia at the moment). By majority vote, they supported the Prosecutor General’s application to prosecute, detain and arrest Y. Bakulin.

On N.Savchenko

The Prosecutor General said that he would file a petition for prosecution, detention and arrest of Nadiia Savchenko, MP.

On oilseeds bill No.7403

On behalf of the factions "Batkivshchyna" (Motherland) and "People’s Will", Vadym Ivchenko, MP, made a statement. He informed about a token action, which was being carried out by farmers in eight oblasts, with the requirement to adopt a bill on amending the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding VATaxation for oilseeds exports outside Ukraine’s  customs territory.

Draft bill No.4670

The law of Ukraine "On the Disciplinary Regulations of the National Police of Ukraine" has finally passed the floor. The legislative act adopted the Disciplinary Regulations of the National Police of Ukraine, elaborated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in pursuance of sub-item 8 of clause 7 of section XI "Final and Transitional Provisions" of the Law of Ukraine "On National Police". This paper determines the essence of the service discipline in the National Police of Ukraine, the powers of the police and their executives, types of incentives and disciplinary penalties, as well as the procedure for their application and appeal. Force of the law shall apply to the commanding officers of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, rank and file and commanders of the State Criminal Execution Service of Ukraine and the tax militia who must strictly adhere to its requirements.

Draft bill No.5543

By taking the bill, the House has approved a parliamentary resolution on expulsion of Nadiia Savchenko, MP, from the Committee on National Security and Defence.

Draft bill No.7500

By taking the bill, parliamentarians have removed V.O. Hontarieva from office of the Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Draft bill No.7501

Through adoption of the bill, the House has appointed Yakiv Smolii as the Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine.
