That Thursday the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held Africa Day on the topic ‘Ukraine’s economical and educational priorities in collaboration with Africa’. That was the third day running Ukraine had observed within the last three years.
Ukraine sent officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and some public organizations. The Ukrainian State Center for International Education made a special presentation on educational capability of Ukraine and Ukrainian businesses operating on Africa’s markets.In view of a keen interest in bilateral links within the region, Hanna Hopko, the Head of the Committee on Foreign Affairs laid stress in her speech upon the need to continue the mutual cooperation, widen interrelations in political, economic, social, educational spheres, further development of ties with the African continent.
