The Committee members considered the bill No. 0110 "On ratification of the Memorandum on Mutual Understanding between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on Cooperation in Sector of Defense."
Adoption of such law will be done with the ratification of the Memorandum, which in turn will facilitate further deepening of defense cooperation between the two states.
The Committee members decided to recommend that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopt the said bill in principle.
In the course of the meeting, the Committee members also considered a number of bills in terms of their correspondence to the Law of the European Union, obligations of Ukraine within the framework of the Council of Europe and the Association Agreement between Ukraine on the one hand and the European Union, European Atomic Energy Community and their member countries on the other hand.
The meeting participants declared the bill No. 3035 that aims to regulate social relations in the field of extraction, use and sale of noncommercial mineral resources to be in line with the EU Law.
