At the beginning of the meeting, First Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Heraschenko noted that social protection of the heroes, who have defended our independence and territorial integrity, and their family members is of particular importance today.

Deputy Social Policy Minister of Ukraine Viktor Ivankevych recalled that the participants in the Revolution of Dignity and the antiterrorist operation have managed to protect Ukraine's independence and also noted the importance of social protection of their family members.

According to the deputy minister, the government has listed major medical establishments that will provide services of medical and psychological rehabilitation for the ATO participants. He also expressed confidence that the Parliament would help the Cabinet of Ministers ensure such initiatives at the legislative level.
