The development of the Ukrainian-Polish-Lithuanian cooperation within the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, Sejm and Senate of the Republic of Poland is very important.

Today, the Co-Heads of the Assembly are Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii, Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Loreta Grauziniene, and Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland Stanislaw Karczewski.

In his opening speech, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii thanked the Lithuanian and Polish people for their support for Ukraine. "I consider such format of the parliamentary cooperation particularly important. It is considerably promising. Ukraine needs both military and economic assistance in the times of war. Besides, we do feel moral and psychological support from Lithuania and Poland. Your peoples do know what the Russian aggression is very well," Parubii said.

According to the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian Government and Ukrainian Parliament have reached mutual understanding. "Together we are taking the steps no European Ukraine would be possible without," Parubii said.
