The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign
Affairs has sent the statement to President of the French National Assembly
Claude Bartolone; Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the French
National Assembly; Chairman of the France-Ukraine parliamentary friendship
group Remi Pauvros on the decision of a group of deputies of the National
Assembly of the French Republic to pay a visit to temporarily occupied
territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
The
statement condemns such a decision despite the explanations it goes with and
states that the decision showed disrespect to sovereignty, territorial
integrity of Ukraine, to its people and the international law.
