Committee hearings that took place on May 22 included the discussion of issues such as financial support to towns of district importance, status of such towns and their place in the process of unification of territorial communities. Besides, participants of the Committee hearings raised the question of creating artificial barriers on the way to unification of territory communities by district authorities.
Particular attention was paid to the draft recommendations that inter alia included the whole set of recommendations for the top state bodies.
At the end of the meeting, its participants decided to approve recommendations of the Committee hearings in June.
The recommendations are aimed at settlement of the issues raised in the frames of the Committee hearings.
