The draft law on mobilisation adopted by the Parliament yesterday provides for social protection guarantees, a large incentive package and a transparent system of deferrals.

“The first and foremost task of this law was to update military registration data. The military command of the country needs to understand what mobilisation potential they can count on,” the MP explained and added that with the entry into force of the Law on Mobilisation, this process will become more transparent and fair.

“If we compare the laws on mobilisation of countries around the world, ours is one of the most liberal in terms of postponements. We have a large motivational package that will encourage men to join the contract service in their speciality. Military benefits and social protection guarantees. And most importantly, we should not forget that the war is ongoing and we are facing a powerful and dangerous enemy. And it is time to unite,” summed up Ihor Kopytin.
