Highly appreciating border guards in our country and law enforcement system, the Committee made every effort to ensure that the Parliament adopted the Law of Ukraine, which provides for a temporary increase in the total number of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine by 15,000 people.
The adopted law will allow the State Border Guard Service to respond promptly to actual and potential threats to national security at the state border.
